Archive for April, 2008

I have been accepted for representation by Mac Worthington’s Gallerie in the Short North art district downtown Columbus Ohio.

Mac Worthington’s is the longest standing gallery in the short north, celebrating it’s 25th anniversary this year. I am very proud to say that my work will be on display in this gallery, I am especially fond of Mac’s work myself, and find it very personally gratifying to be accepted to share space with such a wonderful artist.

My first exhibit has been scheduled to coordinate with Pride Month and starts June 1st 2008 running until the end of the month. That means everyone visiting Columbus for the midwest’s largest Pride Celebration Columbus Pride 2008 should stop by to view my work!

I am planning a special piece for this exhibit, it will not be available online for viewing or purchase until it’s on display. It will be a GLBT themed piece and I have many ideas working for it- I can say it won’t disappoint.

My prints will be available in the racks by the end of April, I will be featured in the summer catalog going out in the end of June. I should also be featured on the website by then as well for your viewing pleasure.

Here’s the image from my postcard for the gallery to give a taste of what the series and style will be. It’s kind of a trick image as not everyone “gets it.” Can you see what it portrays without the title?

I am very excited! This is my first gallery exhibit, I hope it will turn out to be a great opportunity for me!
